1.0 out of 5 stars No Anti-fungal Active Ingredients, April 9, 2011
This review is from: Fungi Cure Anti-Fungal Soap, Medicated, for Jock Itch, 6 oz. (Health and Beauty)
I used this product for 3 weeks watching my jock-itch infection slowly grow larger, more painful and less manageable. So I did a little research. Turns out all this is, is well-marketed over-priced tea-tree soap.

Seriously, the active ingredient "Sepia 12x" means that they took "Cuttlefish ink", diluted it to 1/10th, 12 times. AKA 1 part per 1,000,000,000,000. YES. ONE PART PER TRILLION. Of course since every person in the world is now breathing radioactive particles from the Fukushima Dai-ichi powerplant at higher concentrations than that (completely harmless up until about 1 part per million, or 1 million times more concentrated than "Sepia 12x". How can an active ingredient exist in lower concentrations than radioactive trace amounts. Ludicrous.

That I bought this product shows sloppiness on my part. I didn't get it through Amazon, I picked it up at a local pharmacy and I am heading back there to give the pharmacist an earful.

Whichever side of the homeopathy argument you stand on, I would hope you would prefer to have homeopathic products clearly labeled as such, instead of being tucked in with conventional medicine.

I read the ingredients. The only active ingredient was SepiaX. Oh, I should have paid attention to the X.

I was not familiar with Sepia in this context. As it was capitalized, I assumed it was the name of a genus. The only genus I know with the name Sepia, is a cephalopod. But it didn't occur to me that this was actually the cuttlefish! Tentacles ahoy!

I assumed this plant-based. But the name intrigued me, so before I opened the package, I looked it up. The first hit on Google showed it as a homeopathic remedy. $#*%!!!!!

Now one of the reviewers here claims... Read more

It was what was expected. My husband uses it regularly.
The product arrived promptly. He is a pharmacist and is aware of how it works
